COVID-19 Testing

Of the many lessons we have learned during this pandemic, perhaps the biggest one is that you get a much clearer picture of who someone is when the chips are down. True to form, our business partners have revealed themselves to be what they were all along: upfront, dependable, reliable.

It’s thanks to these partners that we can offer COVID-19 testing solutions in all three categories: molecular (nasal swab and saliva), antigen, and antibody.

So… what’s the difference between these tests? What’s this “PCR” I keep hearing about all the time?! And why is everyone so “sensitive” about “specificity”?

Sensitivity and Specificity

Sensitivity measures how accurate tests are to rule in (positive) a COVID-19 infection. Specificity measures how accurate tests are to rule out (negative) a COVID-19 infection.

Samples are drawn from the nasal cavity and the Ribonucleic Acid (RNA) is isolated using a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) analyzer to detect active COVID-19 infection. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) refers to the PCR nasal swab test as the “gold standard” for clinical diagnostic detection of COVID-19.

Antigen Tests

These tests also utilize a nasal swab and detect the proteins of the virus itself. Sensitivity of the antigen test is generally lower than PCR tests.

Antibody Tests

Also referred to as rapid result tests, these tests look for evidence that a person’s immune system is responding to being infected. Results can be delivered in as little as 10 minutes.

Motion Picture/TV Industry

Precious few industries have been left unscathed by the pandemic, and that’s particularly true of the motion picture/TV sector.  To get back up and running and meet the ever-growing demands of investors and the movie-going public, you’ll need to formulate detailed plans for safety.

Perhaps you’re looking for an end-to-end solution: cleaning agents, surgical masks and air filtration.  Maybe you’ll need nothing more than goggles.  Possibly it’s something in between.

Whatever you’re looking for we can handle it.

Sanitization and Sterilization

Bioprotect is a revolutionary antimicrobial spray cleaner that creates a microscopic shield, binding itself to both porous and non-porous surfaces alike. Among many others, this shield protects against Coronavirus, Influenza, E Coli, MRSA, and Staph aureas.

In many states across the country, wearing a mask is mandatory when in public. Whether it’s an N95 respirator, KN95 masks or surgical masks you’re looking for, we have you covered.

Food service? Cleanup of hazardous spills? Wound treatment? No problem, we have gloves for almost every purpose.  Gloves play a vital, frontline role in the prevention of healthcare-associated infections and cross-contamination.

Face Shields & Goggles

In a healthcare setting, used in conjunction with masks, both face shields and goggles are vital to mitigating the spread of viruses and other airborne pathogens. Eye protection is also essential in constructing sets, and for use when pyrotechnics are involved.

Tents, Tables & Chairs

Even in the best of times, it is never an easy task to feed an entire set, let alone when social distancing is the new normal.  We have ready-made solutions to ensure that people stay spread out, while making certain that your budget stays on track.

Is your set in a gym, bar, restaurant, or convention center? Thanks to our HEPA air filtration solutions, you’ll get 12-15 air return solutions per hour, keeping airborne pathogens at bay and your production on track. Click the “Get Started” button to begin discussing your specialized needs.
